The ministry of St. Mary’s church, and the maintenance of the building, depends on voluntary donations, and we are very grateful for everyone who contributes. You can either make one-off donations or give to St Mary's church on a regular basis. See below for information about how to give to specific projects and causes for which we are currently appealing for support.

Supporting our ministry: the Parish Giving Scheme

The best way to support the ministry of St Mary's is through the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS). This link will take you to our dedicated page on the PGS website. You can donate once or set up a direct debit for regular contributions. An online account with the PGS will enable you to keep track of your gifts to St Mary's, as well as to any other Church of England parishes you support.

Helping us maintain the church building

Maintaining a Grade I listed building cannot be done on the cheap. If you'd like to make a donation to the St Mary's Building Fund, which we use solely for upkeep of the building, you can donate by clicking here at any time.​

Legacies

If you, or someone you know, would like to arrange to leave a legacy to St Mary's church in their Will, please contact our Treasurer to discuss the matter. Our Treasurer will be happy to discuss other ways of donating to our church.

Current appeals

Dorking Area Food Bank: We are making a special appeal for donations in time for our Harvest Festival service. You can either leave non-perishable food and other items at the back of the church, or bring them to the service at 10 o'clock on Sunday 4th October.
